Taiwan Bio Industry Organization

Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (TBIO) was established in 1989, is the largest and the most influential biotechnology organization in Taiwan. TBIO represents over 300 members ranging from private companies and academic institutes to government bodies involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology. We are a strong arm to foster the development of biotechnology in Taiwan. Our mission is to provide advocacy, business development and communication service for our members. TBIO organize the annual Bio Taiwan conferences and exhibition, the largest gathering of biotechnology industry in Taiwan. BioTaiwan has attracted at least 240,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors over the last 3 years. It has become on of the largest event for the biotech industry in Asia. A series of high level seminars and conferences are held in parallel with the exhibition, which provide a platform for the biotech industry to present the latest trend and explore new marketing opportunities.

China National Biotec Group Company Limited (CNBG), is the largest biopharmaceutical company in China by revenue. We research, develop, manufacture and market biopharmaceutical products that prevent, treat and diagnose a wide range of human diseases. We are the largest human vaccine manufacturer in China in terms of batch release volume, and also the largest plasma-derived product manufacturer in China in terms of annual plasma collection volume. International Vaccine Institute
The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) is the world’s only international organization devoted exclusively to developing and introducing new and improved vaccines to protect the world’s poorest people, especially children in developing countries. Its mission is to discover, develop, and deliver safe, effective and affordable vaccines for developing nations. Established in 1997 at the initiative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), IVI operates as an independent nonprofit organization under a treaty signed by 35 countries and the World Health Organization (WHO). The Institute conducts research in more than 20 countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America on vaccines primarily against enteric and diarrheal infections, Japanese encephalitis, and dengue fever, and develops new and improved vaccines at its headquarters in Seoul, Republic of Korea, its host country. International Society for Vaccines
International Society for Vaccines is an organization that engages, supports and sustains the professional goals of a diverse membership in all areas relevant to vaccines. With the successful conclusion of the 2013 Vaccine and ISV Annual Congress and ISV General Meeting, a new set of elected officials to the Executive Board will guide the Society for the next two years. Goals are focused on expanding the membership database and the enhanced attendance at the Annual Congresses. In addition, an out research initiative has begun to partner with organizations to promote ISV activities, such as VacChina 2014.
